Bertrand the Mouse' was super happy with his Back-To-School Birthday Bash Aug. 22 at The Book Market in Crest Hill.
We had refreshments, party hats, birthday games-to-go, and back-to-school ribbits with the purchase of any BryonySeries children's book.
And Bertrand sold twelve books on Saturday (ten to one very generous customer) for him to give away from the WriteOn Joliet booth at Kids Fest on September 19 at ther City Square in Downtown Joliet, which made him very, very happy.
Because all Bertrand wants is for people of all ages to experience the joys of reading.
That brings me to the next point...
We are still seeking sponsorships for WriteOn Joliet's book give away.
The sign below showcases some of our sponsors so far. And, yes, we are making a second sign (we already have two more).

Now, here's how Bertrand concluded his birthday celebration (and it has nothing to do with books).
Bertrand (and his Uncle Barty) attended their very first Porch & Park Music Fest.
And they had a great time (so did Rebekah and I).
