Tonight, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., WriteOn Joliet will host its second anthology release party at The Book market in Joliet. If you like to read, come browse this treasure shop of used and rare books and check out what our authors have written.

If you're neither but you do like good food and coffee, we'll have a variety of refreshments created by three different local chefs.
And then Saturday, I go into hibernation for the weekend. In the morning, I'm meeting with the editor for Before the Blood to review my chore list. I can't wait to get started!

Still selling plenty of used books
Treasures abound at The Book Market in Crest Hill
In addition to selling used – and a limited amount of new – books, people can donate books to The Book Market and receive credit toward the purchase of books from the store, owner Janet Staley said. She doesn't want books ending up "in some landfill."
"They're too precious," Staley said.
