Sue's Diner: Pot Pie of Beef

When John Simons played at Carnegie Hall, he and Melissa stayed at the New York home of piano manufacturer Herbert Rutherford and his wife Della. The Rutherfords entertained Melissa with sleighing, skating outings, and late-night dinner parties. At one buffet, Melissa even ate an entire plate of this potpie, even though it was much different from the frozen version her mother bought.
