Community News: June 2, 2018 and No Recipe

No new recipe on Sue's Diner this weekend.

Between working on fiction, covering and event yesterday, working this afternoon today, and the way the two work schedules (Rebekah's and mine) did not line up, no cooking happened at all this weekend. However, we are planning to get some done next weekend.

However, I am very happy to report that I did get some issues almost worked out in one chapter of Before the Blood that's given me trouble; I finished editing Cornell Dyer and the Necklace of Forgetfulness and handed it off to Rebekah today to (hopefully) format tomorrow; and I did get one chapter of Kellen's portion of BTB edited.

I had hoped to get more done (I actually fell asleep for 90 minutes yesterday, too), but Kellen's early chapters need more work than I anticipated.

Bonus: I made plans with Ed Calkins for Calkins Day 2019. Had a cool idea. He liked it. And now, just have to book the venue.

So all in all a productive and far too short weekend. And now, please out upcoming events in the Joliet area, as well as the awesome things people are doing.
