So Kids Fest on Aug. 1 in downtown Joliet, which was was postponed due to weather, is now the Kids Fall Fest and will be held Sept. 19 at the City Square in Downtown Joliet, according to the Joliet City Center Partnership, which hosts the event.
For the third year in a row, WriteOn Joliet will host reading and writing activities at its booth, which includes a storymaking game and a giveaway of 500-plus books, with titles for kids, tweens, teens, and adults.

And Bertrand wants you to know each purchase also supports a longtime independent bookstore.
So in anticipation of Saturday, Bertrand spent all weekend signing books.
