Free Cookie Christmas Trees With Select Purchases

If you come out to WriteOn Joliet's seventh anthology release party tonight (Dec. 7) at the Black Road branch of the Joliet Public Library, be sure to stop by the BryonySeries table and check out our books and our special "Cookie Christmas Trees" gift with select purchases.

You want details about these, right? Sure you do!

And here we go!

Cookie Christmas Trees:

Every person who buys one (or more) of these combinations will receive a free, locally chef-made edible Cookie Christmas Tree per combination - while Cookie Christmas Trees last.

Cookie Christmas Trees are not limited to one per customer. But for each additional tree, you must still purchase one of these four combinations.

1) One "regular" young adult or adult BryonySeries book (choices include any book in the "drop of blood" trilogy, Lycanthropic SummerThe PhoenixCall of the SirenRuthless by Ed Calkins Steward of Tara, any of the Before the Blood books, our new guide to the BryonySeries, or Nine Months of Kindness.

2) Any two books in The Adventures of Cornell Dyer series.

3). Any two books in the Girls of the BryonySeries series.

4) Any three books in the Bertrand the Mouse series.

5) All three of our BryonySeries cookbooks.

6). Or make us an offer! We are open to haggling.

To check out details of most of those books, visit bryonyseries.com.
.
To be clear, you cannot buy one of these Cookie Christmas Trees at the anthology release party. They are strictly gifts for select purchases.

These kits were made by a local pastry chef, who put much time and labor into the process. They are perfect for gift giving (perhaps accompanied by a notecard with a BryonySeries "word music" tucked inside). Yes, we have at least one author tonight selling handmade notecards.

They also make wonderful (and edible) holiday displays in your home.

Tonight's party is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Black Road branch of the Joliet Public Library. We will also have FREE chef-created food, FREE photos with Santa, a station playing old videos of WriteOn Joliet mic nights for your entertainment, and an assortment of books in a wide variety of genres from eight additional WriteOn Joliet authors.

And, of course, we will have anthologies for sale. And discounts on purchases through Jan. 31, 2024 at The Book Market in Crest Hill.

For your convenience, we will also have a one-stop checkout, courtesy of Jan Staley, owner of The Book Market.

Hope to see you there!
