Sue's Diner: Campfire Apple Crisp

This week's recipe is for Campfire Apple Crisp, which Timothy developed one day in early September last when he needed to use up some apples rather quickly...and then forgot to send me the recipe.

So I have waited an entire year to share it with you.

This recipe is a little more complicated than many of the recipes we share at Sue's Diner. So if you're up for a challenge, Campfire Apple Crisp is for you.

Timothy served his Campfire Apple Crips with a honey brown sugar creme anglaise, a nice sweet complement to the "heat" in this autumn treat.

This recipe does not appear in any of the BryonySeries cookbooks. But BryonySeries character John-Peter Simotes would approve it.

You may try this recipe on the Sue's Diner page on the BryonySeries website

But try the recipe this week. It will be gone some time next week. A new recipe will take it's place.

If you have any troubleshooting questions or comments, email us at bryonyseries@gmail.com.

By the way, Sue's Diner is only real in the BryonySeries world. But didn't Timothy do a great job making the page look like a real menu at a vintage diner?

Here is the full diner page: bryonyseries.com/sue-s-diner. You can't really order, of course (wouldn't it be great if you could?).
