Story Round-Up: Features in The Herald-News, April 14 through April 19

Because today is a reflective day for Christians commemorating Good Friday (Eastern Orthodox Christians like myself will observe the day next week), and because I have so much content to share this week (stories and videos), I'll skip the editorializing and get right to it.

Monday through Saturday I assembled my non-bylined works - brief posts and calendar listings - into one convenient file and posting them on Facebook in the evening, so readers can easily choose the ones they want to read.

Click on "features" and the topics drop down.  Gotta Do It runs under "people."

Love of a cappella spans generations

"It does require a certain amount of ability," Tori Hicks, music director, said. "Not everyone can sing a cappella, not that I'd discourage anyone form trying it.
