Although I usually post piano music on Sundays on the BryonySeries blog (because one character - John Simons - was a nineteenth century world-renowned pianist and composer before he died and became a vampire), I'm making an exception again this week.
Today is Easter Sunday to Eastern Orthodox Christians (like us), and I couldn't pass up this collection of early twentieth century recordings of timeless Easter hymns, which come straight from the time period of "Call of the Siren," the second book in the BryonySeries Limbo trilogy.
What I really liked about this video (and the service is performed the same way in every Orthodox church) is the gathering of the faithful in the midst of life's business to announce the great and wonderful news: Christ is Risen from the Dead!
Be blessed today - and enjoy!

This was wonderful. I really enjoyed this. I actually watch the whole thing while I was putting David to bed.
Awww, I'm glad David could hear it, too, even if he doesn't understand it (yet).
