So my Friday Fiction Night went south two weekends ago due to an unexpected trip to the emergency room for a suprise and atypical infection.
And I was told to stay out of the sun with the antiobiotic I was given for the next seven days.
Well, the infection had its own ideas. And by Tuesday night, it had reversed its course, and I wound back in the ER on Wednesday night.
On Thursday, I saw a specialist for a follow-up, and he gave me another week of the antiobiotic. And it may continuing making me photosensitive for another week after I stop it.
Good news is that medicine seems to be beating back the infection. So I play vampire for another week or two and venture outside only after the sun goes down.
That seems like a small price to pay to get well, doesn't it?
