This week's recipe is for a very easy, three-ingredient bread recipe that we make all the time at our house.
It's the same recipe that we used all the years we made the communion bread for our church, too. In the Eastern rite tradition, leavened bread is used (instead of unleavened bread) and it calls for just three ingredients.
Because the bread has no sodium (although a little salt can be added, if you prefer), it's also perfect for people on low-sodium diets.
But the recipe also makes very good bread for everyday eating, as well. It's a dense loaf (but not heavy). It slices well and makes excellent toast. And, no, it doesn't taste flat at all.
