Instead of Cooking

This weekend was cookbook cooking weekend, except Rebekah and I didn't cook at all.

Once a month, we schedule a time to cook four recipes from Memories in the Kitchen: Bites and Nibbles from "Bryony" to help promote the cookbook, which is a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will and Grundy Counties atat www.bbbswillgrundy.org.

Order the cookbook at www.bryonyseries.com.

We both like cooking, so it's overall fun to work together preparing, and sampling, vintage foods.

But with a big project looming on Monday, I had some extra work to do. Rebekah also has a major work project tomorrow, so she prepared for it this weekend, too.

Coupled with a side project (a Joliet resident's memoir) and editing the fifth book of Before the Blood (I made it through chapter 23), the weekend flew past.

So if you missed last week's recipe, you can still try it at https://www.bryonyseries.com/sue-s-diner.

But since we didn't cook, we need to figure out dinner. And I have some social media to schedule, and walk to get in.

How did Sunday night arrive so fast?
