Munsonville Times was so impressed by
the spread John Simons served for his wedding to Miss Bryony Marseilles that
the newspaper listed each item, including this one for fruit fritters.
Editor's note: OK, so this recipe has been on my wish list ever since I compiled the cookbook. We made them yesterday (with modifications from Timothy, who fried them), and they are really, really, really good.
BTW: We used chopped frozen strawberries for these.
