Memories in the Kitchen: Ham Surprises

Ham Surprises

3-4 tablespoons dehydrated onion
1 stick margarine, softened
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
½ tablespoon poppy seed
12 Aunt Millie’s Kaiser buns
12 slices good Polish ham
12 slices American cheese

Combine first 4 ingredients, and mix. Spread a thin layer on one side of bun. Add 1 slice ham and 1 slice cheese. Repeat 11 times. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Yield: 12 sandwiches.
